The main campus of Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University (IAU) is located in Dammam - the largest city in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Dammam is considered an important Saudi port on the Arabian Gulf. Recently, the city has expanded to the borders of its neighboring cities - Al-Khobar and Dhahran. Dammam is home to the world's most important petroleum production and refining centers. The population of the region exceeds one million.
